Alicia Chatham

Asheville, NC-based artist Alicia Chatham studied art and oil painting at both University of South Carolina and University of North Carolina at Asheville. Now, she creates abstract spaces and environments that lend themselves to subconscious introspection. Within the dream-like landscapes and human forms, her use of color invokes a mystery that pulls the viewer into otherworldly playfulness. Typically, her work is painted on deep wood panels, lightly lacquered for a glossy, interesting shine and is ready to hang.
